Friends of the Arboretum Sponsors Trip to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens
The Friends of the Orange County Arboretum is sponsoring a bus trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

Goshen, N.Y. - Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus and Parks Department Commissioner Richard Rose have announced that the Friends of the Arboretum will sponsor a bus trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for the Cherry Blossom Display on April 28th.
Join the Friends at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to celebrate “Hanami,” the Japanese cultural tradition of enjoying the beauty of cherry blossom season. You’ll be thrilled by the spectacular display of blooms as you stroll down the Cherry Esplanade and explore the Japanese Hill and Pond Garden. Don’t forget to visit the Bonsai Museum with its display of 350 amazing miniature trees. The trip includes bus transportation, admission to the gardens and a boxed lunch and beverage for $65 per person. Advanced registration and payment are required by April 21st. The bus will leave the Arboretum at 9 a.m. sharp and return at approximately 5 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Arboretum. To reserve a seat, please call 615-3828.
