Frost Advisory Issued For Parts Of Hudson Valley

Sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged or killed if left unprotected.

A cool and rainy weekend will end with nippy overnight weather for parts of the Hudson Valley. The National Weather service has issued frost advisories for Putnam and Orange counties and areas in the mid-Hudson Valley.

The frost advisory for Orange and Putnam counties is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday.

For western Columbia, eastern Ulster and western Dutchess, the frost advisory is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday.
