Fugitives From Tennessee Were Said To Have Been In Hudson Valley
They are wanted for attempted murder in Tennessee.

WALKKILL, NY — Two Tennessee fugitives wanted for attempted murder were in southern Ulster County Friday, leading authorities to alert residents of the towns of Shawangunk and Gardiner to lock all their doors and let police know if they see any suspicious activity. The pair — Jarrett Heitmann and Makayla Stillwell — were said to be armed with an assault rifle and shotgun, MidHudsonNews.com said.
A vehicle they had allegedly stolen in Tennessee was found in Pine Bush Friday.
State Police said Jarret Cole Heitmann, is 24 years old, 6-feet, 1-inch and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Makayla Danielle Stilwell, 22, is 5-feet, 9-inches and weighs 145 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

State Police are asking the public to report any information to the State Police in Middletown at 845-344-5300 or the State Police barracks in Wurtsboro at 845-888-2494.
