Fundraiser Set For Destroyed Firehouse
The fire company needs help as they work to pick up the pieces and start over, organizers said.

TIVOLI, NY — In the wake of fire that destroyed much of the firehouse for the Tivoli Fire Company, a fundraising site has been set up. Organizers Collin Brown said that while some equipment was saved, "They are now without even a firehouse to keep the saved equipment in!"
The three-alarm fire occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday causing significant damage. No one was injured.
Two bays where fire trucks were stored were destroyed. Fire gear, the ambulance and a pumper tanker truck were also lost.

The goal is $50,000, organizers said.
Brown wrote that "due to the heavy heat from the fire the building most likely will be not be salvageable."
The fire company needs "our help as they work to pick up the pieces and start over. Our volunteer firefighters are always there when we need them and it's our turn to help them," Brown said.
