Garbage Truck Crashes In Sullivan County Home
The New York State Police said the driver of the truck was unable to stop.

CALLICOON, NY — A garbage truck rammed into a home in Sullivan County, but no one was seriously hurt.
The New York State Police said, around 7 a.m. Monday, troopers from the Liberty barracks responded to Fremont Street and Railroad Avenue in Callicoon for a report of a vehicle crashing into a home.
The investigation found that Carmine Quagliariello, 56, from the town of Liberty, was driving a garbage truck when, for unknown reasons, police said, he was unable to stop and ended up crashing into the home.

Police said the homeowner, who was in the residence at the time, was not injured.
Quagliariello suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit.
