Hazardous Weather In Forecast For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley

With thunderstorms in the forecast for Monday, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley.

The outlook is for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.

Isolated to scattered non-severe thunderstorms area expected Monday afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms will produce frequent lightning and locally heavy rain.

There is also a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday through Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon and evening.

There is marginal risk for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds Tuesday.

Strong gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible Tuesday mainly west of the Hudson Valley. Non-severe thunderstorms are expected Wednesday.
