Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Dutchess, Ulster Counties
Heavy rain, possible hail, gusty winds will usher in nighttime low temps we haven't seen in a while.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The National Weather Service warns of severe thunderstorms in Dutchess and Ulster counties this afternoon and evening. Then take a look at the nighttime lows those storms will be ushering in.
The hazardous weather outlook says:
Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible ahead of a cold front this afternoon into tonight. The main threats for any severe thunderstorms will be damaging winds of 58 mph or greater and or hail the size of quarters or larger. Locally heavy rainfall is possible which may causing ponding on roadways or low lying areas.
"The thunderstorms will target locations that were spared by the severe weather at midweek, which focused on the Northeast's Interstate 95 corridor," said Renee Duff, AccuWeather meteorologist.
