Hazardous Weather Possible For Mid-Hudson Valley
The overnight rain has moved out of the area, but precipitation is still in the forecast for part of the weekend.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The overnight rain has moved out of the region, and the remaining part of Saturday looks to be dry. However, the forecast is calling for more precipitation Sunday afternoon for the Hudson Valley.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties for Sunday.
The outlook said that locally heavy rainfall will be possible late Sunday afternoon into Monday as a storm system moves across the region from the southwest.

Some urban and poor drainage flooding could occur in areas where the heaviest rainfall and any thunderstorms occur.
Strong west to northwest winds my gust over 40 mph Monday afternoon and night. The NWS said that if this potential increases, then a wind advisory would be issued.
