Health Quest Joins Community Partners for Safety Day
Mid Hudson Valley is encouraged to attend Community Safety and EMS Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 21.

Health Quest Community Education has joined forces with several local agencies for a community and safety event in Beacon.

Community Safety and EMS Appreciation Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 21, at the Beacon Elks Lodge, 900 Wolcott Ave.
The event is hosted by the Beacon Elks Lodge and the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Collaboration between several community agencies have made this day possible and include, along with Health Quest, the City of Beacon Police Department, the City of Beacon Fire Department, Dutchess County Animal Response Team and the Beacon Lions Club.

Child car seat checks, toddler eye screenings and other safety information will be provided by the Beacon Police Department, the Beacon Fire Department, the Beacon Lions Club and Health Quest.
Dutchess County Animal Response Team will be on hand to discuss disaster planning, prevention, response and recovery of animals during an emergency.
