High Wind Warning For Mid-Hudson Valley
Widespread power outages are possible, the National Weather Service said.

The mid-Hudson Valley is excepted to see wind gusts in excess of 55 mph Sunday night into Monday. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.
The warning is in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday through 7 p.m. Monday.
Winds from the west at 20 to 40 mph are in the forecast, with gusts of 55 to 65 mph.

Strong to damaging winds are expected, which will likely blow down large tree limbs, trees and power lines, according to the NWS.

Orange County remains under a high wind warning through 6 p.m. Monday.
Central Hudson said it is readying equipment and crews to respond in the event of outages.
The company said to stay at least 30 feet away from fallen power lines and to call 911 to report fallen wires.
