Ellenville Hospital Shooter Sought For Armed Robbery In Brooklyn
He apparently stole a Honda in the Mid-Hudson before heading to NYC.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Joshua Stuart, suspected of trying to shoot police officers at Ellenville Regional Hospital Saturday, has been seen in New York City, police report. In fact, he is now wanted by the NYPD for an armed robbery in Brooklyn.

The car he fled in was stolen from the mid-Hudson Valley, in the area state police were searching Sunday, according to Orange and Rockland Fire.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation has reopened the Vernooy Kill State Forest in Ulster County, where the manhunt took place Sunday.

Stuart is a white man in his early 40s. At the hospital he was wearing a flannel shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

He is believed to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. If anyone sees an individual matching Stuart’s description, they are asked to contact the State Police Middletown 845-344-5300.
