Hudson Valley Magazine Names New Publisher

From Hudson Valley Magazine: Hudson Valley Magazine, part of Today Media, has announced the appointment of Dan Burnside as Publisher. The region’s leading lifestyle publication, Hudson Valley Magazine celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2017.

Burnside joins Hudson Valley Magazine from The Blue Book Building and Construction Network – an industry leader in providing business solutions to the construction industry. During his 15-year tenure at The Blue Book Network, Burnside was involved with sales, management and product launches. As the publisher of Hudson Valley Magazine he will oversee the sales and marketing teams.

Jack Driscoll retains his title of Associate Publisher and will focus full time on business development and advertising sales. Ralph Martinelli will become the Group Publisher ofHudson Valley Magazine, along with Westchester Magazine, Westchester Home, 914INC.,and Westchester/Hudson Valley Weddings.

Martinelli said “I’m thrilled to have Dan join Hudson Valley Magazine. His experience in management, sales and business development, product management, marketing and customer service will bring a new and positive energy to all of our print, digital and event properties in the Hudson Valley.”

Burnside is a native of the Capital District area growing up in Colonie, New York. A graduate of the University of Albany, SUNY, he now lives in LaGrangeville, New York.
