Hudson Valley Man Dies Of Stabbing
Police are asking for the public for information as the investigation continues.
WAWARSING, NY — An Ulster County man died as a result of being stabbed, and a Sullivan County man was arrested. State police said troopers responded to an incident on U.S. Route 209 in the Town of Wawarsing around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The investigation found that Jomar Gonzalez, 24, of Wawarsing, was stabbed multiple times.
He was pronounced dead at Ellenville Regional Hospital, police said.

State police later arrested Tiquan Underwood, 21, of Fallsburg, and charged him with first-degree manslaughter, a felony.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the New York State Police in Ellenville at 845-626-2863.
