Hudson Valley Man Faces Felony Drug Charge
The Putnam County resident was arrested in Fishkill.
FISHKILL, NY — A Putnam County man is facing a felony drug charge after being stopped for what police said were several vehicle and traffic law violations. State Police said Edmund G. Fitzgerald, 20, of Cold Spring, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony.
Troopers said they conducted a traffic stop on Route 9D in the Town of Fishkill of a vehicle driven by Fitzgerald around 10:40 a.m. March 12.
He was found to be in possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana.

Fitzgerald was issued an appearance returnable to the Town of Fishkill Court March 21.
