Hudson Valley Vape Shop Is The Target Of Armed Robbers: Police

Anyone with information about the violent felony is being asked to contact the Town of Montgomery Police Department.

TOWN OF MONTGOMERY, NY — A Hudson Valley vape shop was the target of an armed robbery, and the suspects remain at large, according to police.

The Town of Montgomery Police Department says that on Thursday, around 6:30 p.m., Orange County 911 dispatched Town of Montgomery police to the Premium Smoke and Vape shop, located on Hawkins Driver, after being notified of a panic alarm at the business.

Once on the scene, officers were told by the owner that he had been robbed by two Black men. He said that one of the men had a handgun and pressed it against the owner's ribcage, while demanding money.

After the owner complied, the suspects fled on foot towards Old Neelytown Road, where a white or silver four-door sedan was waiting for them.
