Hyde Park Woman Accused of Helping Boyfriend Violate Order of Protection

Police said she passed messages to someone he is accused of sexually abusing.

Hyde Park, NY — State police arrested a Hyde Park woman Tuesday on accusations that she helped her boyfriend violate an order of protection.

Lindsey Scott, 31, was charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation, a misdemeanor.

Police said Scott assisted Joseph Sucato, who was recently charged with first-degree sexual abuse, by relaying messages to the victim in violation of a duly served order of protection.

Scott’s actions and assistance facilitated Sucato’s commission of the crime of aggravated family offense, a felony.

She was processed at the Highland barracks and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Hyde Park Court July 28.
