Identity-Theft Suspect Sought By State Police

Police said the women tried to buy pre-paid money cards with someone else's credit card.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — State Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a subject wanted for questioning. On April 27, Troopers were sent to a Pleasant Valley home to investigate a reported identity theft. The woman in the picture attempted to make a fraudulent purchase of pre-paid money cards using the victim’s credit card.

The transaction occurred April 27 at the Dollar General in Hyde Park.

Anyone with information regarding the subjects identity is asked to contact Trooper Tatiana Wilson at the Poughkeepsie barracks by called 845-677-7300. Refer to case No. 7533020.
