Inmate Arrested For Violating Order Of Protection From Jail: Police
Authorities in Dutchess County say he violated an order of protection by contacting the protected party by telephone.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — An inmate managed to add to his troubles from behind bars, according to officials.
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office says that 35-year-old Barry A. Gutierrez, of East Fishkill, was arrested for criminal contempt.
On Tuesday, Gutierrez was arrested in connection with an investigation at the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center. He was incarcerated at both the time of the incident and the arrest, and remains there.

Gutierrez is charged with felony aggravated family offense and misdemeanor second-degree criminal contempt.

Gutierrez was processed and is scheduled to appear before the City of Poughkeepsie Court in April.
