Job Fair, Workshops Set for Poughkeepsie

The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair to try to connect job seekers with employers.

The Work Local First Job Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 21 at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel & Conference Center.

The Chamber is looking for regional companies and organizations with positions to fill or services to register for a complimentary shared booth.

For job seekers, registration is not necessary. They should bring resumes.

Organizers the event will also feature staff from the Dutchess One Stop Career Center conducting two 40-minute workshops to help attendees benefit from the job fair experience: “Job Fair Networking” and “Find Your Skills at a Job Fair.”
