LaGrange Man Arrested for Driving Drugged, Without License

The sheriff's office got a complaint about a suspicious vehicle.

LAGRANGE, NY — A 26-year-old LaGrange man was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence of drugs.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Robert Nani and charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and failure to keep right and failure to obey stop sing, traffic infractions.

The sheriff’s office said deputies were investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint in the LaGrange area and saw a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Theandra Lane.

Deputies said Nani was the operator of the vehicle and he was taken into custody for impaired driving.

He was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
