Light Rain, Cold Temps Could Mean Icing Conditions
The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Scattered light rain showers could mean spotty, light icing conditions over some parts of the mid-Hudson Valley Thursday night into Friday. To that end, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.
The weather service said scattered light rain showers will develop across the area Thursday evening and continue overnight.
Temperatures across most of the area will be in the mid- to upper 30s while this rain is falling, however, a few normally colder locations, especially over higher terrain above 1,000 feet, could dip into the lower 30s, which would allow for some spotty, light icing.
