Brandie and Glen were devastated. Suffering a miscarriage is an acute kind of pain, and for the Sims family, it was almost the death of their ultimate dream –to become parents. Doctors let them know their last hope of conceiving would be costly fertility treatments that the couple simply could not afford to pay. This was the end of the road and they didn’t know what to do next.
The answer came from an unexpected place - a late night commercial, of all things. Of course Brandie had heard of Avon -everyone has - but it wasn’t until seeing that ad, and doing some digging online, that she realized it’s potential for her family. After careful planning, she and her husband launched their business, which slowly but surely built steam.
With the new income stream the couple was able to move ahead with the fertility treatments they needed and 2 years later, they brought their daughter Angeliese into the world. Now, Brandie and Glen run the family Avon business from wherever they are, and use social media to constantly grow their connections and customer base.
At age 6, Angeliese is their youngest “recruit” and she lets everyone she meets know that Avon helped her mommy and daddy have her. Brandie will tell you, she owes her family to Avon. They’re now using their earnings to pay their daughter’s private school tuition – and one day, Brandie says, it will put her through college.
