MA Woman Accused Breaking Into Home, Eating Food

She was arraigned virtually and released on her own recognizance.

NEW LEBANON, NY — A Massachusetts woman was accused of breaking into a New Lebanon home Monday. State police said Brittney L. Martin, 19, of Adams, Massachusetts, was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, troopers responded to a home on Route 22 for a report of a burglary in progress.

The investigation found that Martin illegally entered the residence and stole food.

She was arraigned virtually before the Town of Kinderhook Court and released on her own recognizance.

Martin is scheduled to next appear sin the Town of New Lebanon Court June 11.
