MA Woman Arrested In Hudson For Drug Possession: NYSP

HUDSON, NY — State police arrested a Massachusetts woman in Columbia County for drug possession. Elana M. Kramer, 24, of Housatonic, MA was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop for a violation around 1 a.m. May 22 on a 2000 Dodge Neon on Green Street in the City of Hudson.

Police found that Kramer, the driver, had an active warrant for her arrest.

Further investigation found that she had more than 43 grams of heroin and a small amount of marijuana in her possession, police said.

Kramer was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
