Man Arrested For Endangering Welfare Of Child

Police said the incident occurred in the Town of North East.

NORTH EAST, NY — A Columbia County man was arrested Sept. 2 and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. The arrest of George T. Miles III, 30, of Copake, occurred after Troopers were advised of an incident that occurred in a home in the Town of North East, police said.

Miles was located by State Police in New Lebanon.

He was arraigned in the Town of Amenia Justice Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail or $40,000 bond.
