Man Exposes Himself To Women, Touches Them: Police

One of the charges the man faces is public lewdness.

MONROE, NY — An Orange County man was accused of exposing himself to women and touching them without consent.

The New York State Police said Christopher Lyons, 21, of Monroe, was charged with forcible touching and public lewdness, both misdemeanors.

Police said, around 10 p.m. Sunday, troopers went to the village of Kiryas Joel for a report of a man exposing himself to and touching women without permission.

A woman and her husband told police that the man, later identified as Lyons, grabbed her as he walked by and then exposed himself.

Police said there were numerous reports of Lyons exposing himself and masturbating in public.

He is being held in Orange County Jail pending arraignment.

Police said anyone who feels they were a victim of Lyons are asked to call the New York State Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-782-8311 and refer to SJS No. 10342714.
