Man Tased, Arrested At Unauthorized Car Show In Hudson Valley
Police were called to the area because of a large crowd and noise complaints.
WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A Poughkeepsie 23-year-old was arrested after being accused of resisting arrest and being tasered Sunday night in Wappingers Falls. Village police were called to a parking lot at 1594 Route 9 for a noise complaint where they said they found 250 people at an unauthorized car show, with the cars' hoods open and engines running.
After asking people to disperse, Wappingers Falls police said a large group began approaching them in a threatening manner and backup was requested, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
The 23-year-old man continued to not comply with police orders and was stunned by a stun gun.

He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, Hudson Valley Post said.
