Hudson Valley Schools Announce Closings For Monday

The snow and ice storm and the cleanup and restoration efforts have caused some of the closings.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With power restoration ongoing in some parts of the Hudson Valley, combined with continuing hazardous road conditions and a weather advisory, it's not surprising that some schools have opted to close or otherwise alter their schedules for Monday, Feb. 7.

Here are the schools that have announced changes for Monday as of 7 a.m.:

  • Brewster: 2-hour delay
  • Carmel: 2-hour delay
  • Columbia-Greene Community College: Closed
  • Highland: Closed
  • Highland Falls: 1-hour delay
  • Kingston: Closed
  • Livingston Manor: Closed
  • New York School for the Deaf: Remote
  • North Salem: 2-hour delay
  • Onteora: Closed
  • Rondout: Closed
  • Saugerties: Closed
  • SUNY Ulster: Closed
  • Woodstock Day School: Closed
