MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Voters in the Mid-Hudson Valley went to the polls to decide whether to pass school budgets for 2017-18. There were also elections for board of trustees and various other propositions.

Arlington School District

  • 2017-18 budget: $68,650,000. PASSED 864-162
  • Percent change: 2.81 percent.
  • Proposition: Vehicle replacement PASSED.
  • Kristan Flynn, Anthony White, Craig Wolf and Kenya Gadsden were re-elected to the board of trustees.

Poughkeepsie City School District

  • 2017-18 budget: $96,747,054. PASSED 1,226 to 752
  • Percent change: 2.07 percent.
  • Propositions: N/A.
  • Board election: Winners were Debra Long and Doreen Clifford.

Spackenkill School District

  • Percent change: 1.86 percent.

  • Percent change: 1.8 percent.
  • Propositions: Bus purchase. PASSED
  • Keith Odums, John Lumia, Peggy Kelland and Tracy Pelton elected to the board of trustees.
