MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Voters in the Mid-Hudson Valley went to the polls to decide whether to pass school budgets for 2017-18. There were also elections for board of trustees and various other propositions.
- 2017-18 budget: $205,055,000. PASSED 1,857 to 710
- Percent change: 1.9 percent.
- Propositions: Bus proposition, transportation and maintenance facilities project BOTH PASSED.
- Pauline Herr, Jennifer Eraca and Peter Bodnar elected to board of trustees.

- 2017-18 budget: $68,650,000. PASSED 864-162
- Percent change: 2.81 percent.
- Proposition: Vehicle replacement PASSED.
- Kristan Flynn, Anthony White, Craig Wolf and Kenya Gadsden were re-elected to the board of trustees.
Poughkeepsie City School District
- 2017-18 budget: $96,747,054. PASSED 1,226 to 752
- Percent change: 2.07 percent.
- Propositions: N/A.
- Board election: Winners were Debra Long and Doreen Clifford.

- Proposition: Bus proposition. PASSED

- Propositions: Bus purchase. PASSED
- Keith Odums, John Lumia, Peggy Kelland and Tracy Pelton elected to the board of trustees.
