MILLBROOK, NY — The Millbrook Central School District has a new leader.

Caroline Hernandez Pidala was named this month to be interim superintendent, having previous served as deputy superintendent.

Superintendent Laura Mitchell submitted her resignation letter, which Board President Perry Hartswick said he wasn't at liberty to talk about it because it was a confidential personnel matter, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
