Mount Saint Mary To Move Classes Online Temporarily

The online classes will be just before and after the previously scheduled spring break.

NEWBURGH, NY — Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh will be moving classes online later in the week out of concern about the new coronavirus. The college will also suspend or reschedule college trips, cancel events and close the residence halls early.

In a posting to the college community, college President Jason N. Adsit said the school is taking proactive steps and there are no cases of COVID-19 connected to the campus.

Residence halls will be closing Wednesday, March 11, with the tentative reopening set for Sunday, March 29. Go here for more information on the closing.

Classes will move online March 12 and 13, and spring break will proceed as scheduled for March 14-22.

Online classes will continue March 23-27, and residence halls are tentatively set to reopen March 29. Face-to-face classes are scheduled to resume Monday, March 30, tentatively.
