New Paltz High's Garden Honored By Michelle Obama

Students take care of the garden on the school grounds.

NEW PALTZ, NY — The courtyard gardens at New Paltz High School have been recognized by Michelle Obama.

The school received a letter in September from the first lady that commended environmental science teacher Cathy law for her work on the garden, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

There are 15 themed gardens at the school which the students take care of.
