New Windsor Man Arrested For Sunday's Fatal Stabbing In Newburgh
Anyone with information about the killing is being asked to contact the City of Newburgh Police Department.
NEWBURGH, NY — City of Newburgh police say that an arrest has been made in connection to the fatal stabbing that took place Sunday night.
Around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, officers were sent to 120 West Parmenter St. after a ShotSpotter activation.
Police found a man with injuries consistent with a stabbing. They began life-saving measures and requested an ambulance.

The man was taken to Montefiore St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital, where he died. Police have not yet released the name of the victim.
25-year-old Cameron Williams, from the Town of New Windsor, has now been charged with second degree murder in connection to the stabbing. Police say he was brought to Goshen for an evening arraignment.

The City of Newburgh Detective Division says it worked closely with the City of Newburgh Emergency Services (ESU) and members of the Orange County District Attorney's Office to make the arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Homicide Detective Demoulin at 845-569-7578. Police say all calls will remain confidential.
