New York State Police Arrest Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Possessing Child Exploitation Materials
After receiving a tip last summer, a months-long investigation resulted in the 37-year-old Kingston man's arrest on Wednesday, police say.

KINGSTON, NY — An Ulster County 37-year-old is now facing charges related to child sexual exploitation.
The New York State Police say that on Wednesday, members from Kingston and Highland, with assistance from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested Garrick E. Martino, of Kingston, for felony possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
The arrest took place after a months-long investigation that began after a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

On August 13, investigators executed a search warrant at Martino's home in Kingston. Police say that Martino is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
He was processed at the New York State Police barracks in Kingston and issued an appearance ticket, returnable to the City of Kingston Court on February 2.
