Newburgh Man Arrested For Having Sex With Pre-Teen Child: Police
He faces three felony criminal sexual charges and a misdemeanor.

NEWBURGH, NY — State Police arrested a Newburgh man Friday for allegedly having sex with a child. Timothy Antonucci, 47, of Newburgh, was taken into custody after an investigation by the State Police Child Abuse Unit, the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center and the State Police Investigators from SP Highland and SP Montgomery into the sexual abuse of a child younger than 13 years old that occurred in the towns of Newburgh and Plattekill.
Police said the child and Antonucci knew each other.
Antonucci was charged with second-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree criminal sexual act, all felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

He was arrested at the Montgomery barracks and was arraigned in the Town of Newburgh Court.
Antonucci was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $50,000 property bond pending a future court appearance.
