Judith Weinstein, 70, was on a morning walk with her husband Gadi Haggai, 72, when the attack began, reports said.

GOSHEN, NY — A woman originally from Goshen was killed during the Hamas attack on Oct. 7 and her body is still being held in Gaza, her hometown of Kibbutz Nir Oz said in a statement obtained by multiple outlets.
Judith Weinstein, 70, was on a morning walk with her husband Gadi Haggai, 72, when the attack began, prompting them to take cover in a field, The Times of Israel reported.
Weinstein recorded a short video on her phone as a warning from their kibbutz blared, capturing her and her husband's confusion, according to the outlet.

That video was shared in a group chat with family, reports said. Shortly after, the couple fell radio silent.
"Judy had time to inform her friends that she'd been hit by a gunshot and that her husband Gadi was seriously injured, that was her last contact with them," the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said in a statement shared with The Jerusalem Post.
