DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — An inmate at the Green Haven Correctional Facility is accused of throwing urine at a nurse and corrections officer.

Cain Carothers, 25, was arraigned Wednesday on two counts of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, after a grand jury returned an indictment against him, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney’s office.

The charges stem from incidents on March 20, 2025 at the maximum security prison.
