Orange County Man Accused Of Dealing Heroin
Authorities said a criminal indictment was obtained from a grand jury, and the man was arrested.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — An Orange County man was arrested after being accused of selling heroin. On April 16, the New York State Police Troop K Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, in conjunction with the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office arrested Daquan Charles, 27, of Middletown.
He was charged with five counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell with a previous conviction, all felonies.
An investigation found that Charles possessed and sold more than 138 grams of heroin, police said.

With the assistance of the Dutchess County DA, a criminal indictment was obtained from a grand jury, and Charles was arrested.
He was arraigned in the Dutchess County Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail or $100,000 bond.
