Pair Arrested For Stealing From Wappingers School
Authorities said the couple entered the building during a school event.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A Dutchess man and Long Island woman face burglary charges having been accused of stealing items from Wappingers Junior High School Jan. 3. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said David M. Borrelli, 36, of Pleasant Valley, and Felicia S. Burnham, 30, of Bayshore, were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, a felony.
During the evening hours of Jan. 3, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the school for a report of suspicious people and a possible burglary.
When they got to the school, the suspects had left, but an investigations found they had allegedly entered the building during a school event and took a document camera and a contractor’s nail gun.

Borrelli and Burnham were arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail on $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond for Borrelli and $20,000 bail or $40,000 bond for Burnham.

They are due to appear in the Town of Wappinger Court Jan. 10.
