
PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A 22-year-old Pleasant Valley man was arrested May 14 on an accusation of rape. The New York State Police said Travis Bathrick was charged with second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act, both felonies. On May 13, Troopers received a report about an alleged sex offense that occurred in the Town of Pleasant Valley.
The investigation found that Bathrick allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a female victim under the age of 15.
He was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

Bathrick is scheduled to reappear in court May 19.
