Pleasant Valley Woman Accused Of Stabbing
State police said the incident occurred during a domestic dispute.
PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A Pleasant Valley woman was accused of stabbing someone during a domestic dispute. State police said Mikala L. Riggleman, 24, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested May 22 and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
Around 5 a.m. May 22, troopers were sent to West Road in the Town of Pleasant Valley for a reported domestic dispute.
When they got there, the troopers said Riggleman was engaged in a fight and subsequently stabbed the victim with a knife.

The injuries that were sustained were non-life-threatening, police said.
Riggleman was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.

She is next scheduled to appear in court May 28.
