Police Accuse Man Of Drug Possession, Giving Fake Name
The Poughkeepsie resident faces two felonies and two misdemeanors, police said.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Poughkeepsie man was arrested after being accused of having crack cocaine and heroin and given police a fake name.
The New York State Police said Reynaldo Mojica, 38, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal impersonation, misdemeanors.
Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, troopers stopped a car on Academy Street in the city of Poughkeepsie.

The investigation found Mojica had about 19 grams of crack cocaine and 7.4 grams of heroin, police said
The man also initially gave a fake name to try to evade an active warrant for his arrest, according to authorities.

Mojica was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
He is next scheduled to appear in court Monday.
