Woman Jumps From Mid-Hudson Bridge Monday
The state Bridge Authority had warned of police activity on the bridge.

LLOYD, NY — A woman jumped off the south side of the Mid-Hudson Bridge Monday around noon. Her body was recovered later in the afternoon near Hyde Park.
The name of the 53-year-old Marlboro resident was not released, the Daily Freeman said.
Numerous police agencies searched for her, and her body was found on the east side of the Hudson River, the Daily Voice said.

The women’s body was taken to the Broadway Campus of HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston.

A tweet at 12:18 p.m. Monday told motorists to use caution when crossing the span.
