Police Arrest Suspect In Sunday Shooting At Fishkill Pizzeria: NYSP
Breaking: There were six people inside the restaurant at the time of the shooting. Luckily, no serious injuries were reported.
FISHKILL, NY —On Sunday, the New York State Police, Town of Fishkill Police and the Village of Fishkill Police responded to Antonella's Pizza on State Route 9 in Fishkill after reports of shots fired into the business.
Officers safely located six people who were inside the building at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.
Police immediately began searching for the suspect, who fled the scene. Investigators identified Gary P. Bonventre Jr., 42, of Fishkill, as a suspect. He was taken into custody soon after without further incident.

Police recovered a Rohm .22 short caliber revolver.
Bonventre was arrested for six counts of first degree attempted assault, second degree criminal use of a firearm, and second degree criminal possession of a weapon, all class C felonies. He was also charged with first degree six counts of reckless endangerment, a class D felony.

Bonventre was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Wolfson of the Village of Fishkill Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail, a $100,000 secure bond, or a $1,000,000 partially secure bond. He is scheduled to reappear before the court on October 17.
