Police ID Victims Of Plane Crash Into Union Vale House
Emergency responders had to fight a fierce blaze after the plane smashed into the house.

UNION VALE, NY — New York State Police have tentatively identified those involved in Saturday's plane crash into a Hudson Valley home around 4:15 p.m. Two people on the plane survived the crash and subsequent inferno as the plane and house burned.
At the time of the crash, three people were at home at 235 South Smith Road in Union Vale.
Gerard Bocker, 61, has been tentatively identified pending confirmation at autopsy. Hannah Bocker, 21, was critically injured. Sarah Bocker, 30, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The aircraft pilot was tentatively identified as Francisco Knipping-Diaz, 61, of Woodmere, Long Island, who died at the crash.
His two passengers were identified as Eduardo Tio, 50, also of Woodmere, and Teoflio Antonio Diaz Pratt, 52, of the Dominican Republic, both of whom sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The Cessna 303 plane had departed Orange County Airport and made a refueling stop at Sky Acres Airport in LaGrangeville, NBC reported. The plane, then bound for Republic Airport in Farmingdale on Long Island, crashed about a mile from the runway after taking off from Sky Acres.
"We pray for all those involved in the plane crash that occurred this afternoon in Union Vale," Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro said on his Facebook page.
The New York State Police, National Transportation Safety Board and FAA continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
