Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Hudson Valley

WALLKILL, NY — A crash involving a motorcycle and a truck in Wallkill left a Sullivan County man dead. State police said they were called around 5:15 p.m. Monday to Bloomingburg Road in the Town of Wallkill for a report of a crash.

The initial investigation found that a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling north on Bloomingburg Road when it struck a 2006 dump-body Ford F350 truck that was going south and turning left onto Allen Lane.

The operator of the motorcycle — Hunter Behnke, 21, of Wurtsboro, Sullivan County — was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the driver of the truck was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
