Hyde Park Hit-And-Run Crash: Suspect Wanted By Police

New York State Police said the man also stole a cart full of groceries from the Hyde Park Stop & Shop.

HYDE PARK, NY — State police from the Rhinebeck barracks are trying to identify a man who fled a hit-and-run crash in Hyde Park. An investigation found the car was operated by the man in the photos, police said.

The suspect was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla with New York registration HBH6474 and the car was reported stolen, police said.

Security footage at the nearby Stop & Shop at 3999 Albany Post Rd., from which the photos were taken, shows the man, according to the police. They said he also stole a cart full of groceries.

Anyone who has information regarding the identity or location of the man is asked to call the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Rhinebeck at 845-677-7300. Refer to case No. 9504516. All calls can be kept confidential.
