Police Investigating Shooting at Town of Wappinger Gun Club

CHELSEA, NY — State Police are investigating a shooting Saturday at a private party being held at a gun club.

The Shadowbrook Gun Club, located at 33 Chelsea Rd. in the Town of Wappinger was rented out for the party when, at around 10:30 p.m., a person attending the party was shot by an unknown assailant.

The victim was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
