Possible Increase In Snow Amounts For Mid-Hudson Valley

The snow will taper to scattered snow showers and flurries early this Wednesday evening.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Parts Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties could see up to 6 inches of snow before the storm moves out.

The National Weather Service said a winter weather advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. Wednesday in the three counties.

Meteorologists are now calling for total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches, with a few locally higher amounts over the northern and eastern Catskills.
