Poughkeepsie HS Student Faces Charge In Online Threat: UPDATE
The threat Tuesday led to a lockdown at the school for a couple of hours.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A high school student is facing a charge of making online threats against another student which caused a lockdown Tuesday at Poughkeepsie High School. The 14-year-old will be charged through Family Court.
He was released to his mother, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A threat between students forced an almost two-hour-long lock down Tuesday morning at Poughkeepsie High School. Around 8 a.m., the school district said it received a report of one student threatening another student.
The district notified the police department and officers responded to the school located on Forbus Street, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

A few students were allowed into the building after a security check of jackets and backpacks.
Remaining students were let into the school around 9:45 a.m.
